Camping in Bas-Saint-Laurent

The south shore of the St. Lawrence estuary. Whale watching, Île Verte, Témiscouata wilderness.

Bas-Saint-Laurent runs along the southern bank of the St. Lawrence from Lévis east to Mont-Joli. The river widens dramatically here — from 20 km to over 50 km — and whale watching from shore becomes routine in summer.
