The 10 best Quebec RV campgrounds (2026)
Field-visited, reader-voted and ranked on amenities, slot availability and the intangible — would we book it again?
We selected ten campgrounds for this list across four criteria: site quality, amenities for RVs (full hookup availability, dump station, length pull-throughs), surroundings (lake, river, mountains, dark sky) and reader sentiment over the last two seasons.
1. Camping Domaine de la Yamaska — Roxton Pond
50-amp pull-throughs, lake access, dark sky preserve. Books out by April for July weekends.
2. Camping Aventure Mégantic
Dark sky reserve, observatory on site. Cold nights, even in August — bring a heater.
3. Camping de la Pointe-Taillon
Lac-Saint-Jean shoreline, 45 km bike network. The 100-site loop is the better choice over the 200.
4. Camping Bivouak Aventure — Saint-Adolphe
Laurentian forest, 30-amp only. Sites #14 to #18 are the quietest.
5. Camping La Loutre — Mauricie
River access for canoes and SUP. Small (28 sites), books fast.
6. Camping Étoile du Nord — Charlevoix
Ocean view from the upper loop. Foggy June, glorious August.
7. Camping Lac Saint-François
50-amp, full hookups, swimming dock. Family-friendly without being a circus.
8. Camping Domaine Lausanne — Estrie
Hilltop sunsets, gravel pull-throughs. Avoid the back loop after heavy rain.
9. Camping Tadoussac
Whale watching at the doorstep. Cold mornings, foggy windows, worth every minute.
10. Camping Gaspésie — Forillon
Cliffs and ocean. The northern loop has the best views; the southern is calmer for families.
