Van life recipes

Single burner, minimal counter, cooler-only. Recipes for the realities of full-time van living.

Van life cooking is the most constrained format of all: single burner (typically butane or alcohol), cooler instead of fridge, no oven, counter space under 0.3 m². Recipes here are tested in real conversion vans.

Pantry priorities: nothing requiring refrigeration after opening (or recipes that finish the package), shelf-stable proteins (tuna, hard cheese, jerky).

Cooler discipline: ice blocks last 3–5 days; meat and dairy zone separated.
